Size attraction is erotic interest in real adult height, body mass, build, width, softness, muscularity, or contrast between bodies. A person may prefer taller or shorter partners, larger or smaller bodies, broad frames, substantial softness, compact builds, or the visual and physical difference between their body and someone else's.
Giant, shrinking, macro, and micro fantasies use impossible changes of scale. Someone can enjoy realistic height contrast without wanting skyscraper-sized characters, or love giant fantasy without having a real-world size preference.

Height is one dimension. A tall partner may create a strong visual line, different kissing angle, sense of shelter, authority, or contrast. A shorter partner may feel compact, agile, easy to hold, visually striking beside someone taller, or powerful in contrast to expectations.
Absolute height and relative height are different preferences. A 2022 four-country study of height preferences measured chosen partner height in centimetres and compared it with each participant's own height. Taller participants tended to choose taller partners. The sample and scenarios do not define everyone's taste, but the method makes a useful distinction between liking tall people and liking being taller or shorter than a partner.
Body size also includes mass, width, softness, distribution, frame, and muscle. Two people at the same height can create very different size impressions. A broad chest, thick thighs, round belly, narrow waist, large buttocks, heavy muscle, or soft overall build may carry the attraction.
Relative size can matter more than an absolute type. A person may be drawn to partners larger than themselves, enjoy being the larger partner, or like switching the contrast across different relationships.
Size changes silhouette, posture, movement, clothing, and how two bodies look together. A person may be drawn to a particular build on its own or to the composition created when bodies contrast.
Physical contact adds another layer. Being surrounded by a larger body, holding a smaller partner, resting against softness, feeling solid muscle, reaching up, bending down, or noticing differences in hand and limb size can make contrast tangible.
The preference may be broad or precise. 'Larger bodies' can mean height, fatness, muscle, breadth, weight, or a combination. Direct language avoids forcing those distinct traits into one category.
Size can support fantasies of protection, authority, intimidation, being held, being overpowered, service, or contrast in status. A taller or heavier partner may look dominant in a scene before anyone says a word.
Role can deliberately contradict appearance. A smaller dominant may direct a much larger submissive. A physically large person may enjoy being treated as delicate, cute, or protected. The mismatch between body and role can be the point.
In a survey of 541 non-heterosexual Czech men, respondents' actual height was not correlated with preferred dominance, although preferred relative-height difference and preferred role were related. One sample cannot supply a rule for everyone. It does show why actual stature and the meaning attached to stature need separate questions.
Size difference is also visually useful without any power exchange. Couples may like the way clothing, poses, embraces, or photographs display contrast while keeping an equal relational tone.
Fat and size attraction may centre on softness, roundness, weight, belly, thighs, movement, breadth, or the experience of a substantial body. It can be a whole-body attraction or connect with belly, buttocks, breast, chest, and thigh focus.
Fat admirer and FA have a long community history. An archived 1983 NAAFA newsletter ran an essay defining Fat Admirer and announced an FA special-interest group. The label is still optional. A 2022 Fat Studies paper proposed fat-forward sexualities as language for attraction that does not force every preference into a fetish category.
A preference need not have one size threshold. A 2009 study of 47 male fat admirers found that the group rated a wider range of women's body sizes attractive than its comparison group. The sample was small and specific, so it cannot define fat attraction in general. It does show that attraction to fat bodies can be broad rather than exclusive.
Muscle attraction may centre on mass, definition, strength, or specific muscle groups. A heavily muscled body can feel large without being tall or fat. Flexing, active admiration, and displays of strength can add a muscle-worship element.
An Archives of Sexual Behavior study defines feederism through erotic eating, feeding, and weight gain. Size attraction does not imply any wish for a partner to change their body. Attraction to the body someone has now is a complete interest.
Giant and shrinking fantasies change the laws of the scene. A person may become tiny enough to be held in one hand, grow larger than a building, swallow another character, tower over a city, or interact with a changed world. The impossible scale creates awe, danger fantasy, care, destruction, helplessness, or perspective play.
Real-world size attraction stays with adult height and body variation. It can involve strong contrast and power without turning anyone into a giant or miniature.
Some people enjoy both. The Size Attraction Quiz looks at real adult height, build, mass, and contrast. For fantasies about impossible scale or bodily transformation, the Giant or Shrinking Fantasy Quiz asks the closer questions.
Name the trait: height, fatness, muscle, width, softness, weight, frame, or relative contrast. Then say whether you like being the larger person, smaller person, or simply seeing a certain body type.
Add the attraction channel and role. Looking, touch, being held, lifting fantasy, protection, authority, clothing, photography, and body worship do not come as one package.
Name the body preference without assigning health, character, dominance, or worth. 'I am attracted to broad, soft bodies' describes desire, not the person's life or role.
No. Size attraction concerns real adult height, build, mass, and contrast. Giant and shrinking interests use impossible scale or body transformation.
No. Feederism and gaining centre eating, weight change, or roles around them. A person can be attracted to larger bodies with no interest in changing anyone's size.
No. Body size and power role are independent. Some people enjoy matching the visual assumption, and others enjoy reversing it.
